Meet Our Pastor

Mercidieu (Phil) Phillips serves as the founder and senior pastor of Agape Christian Fellowship. His passion for ministry began early. He began his preaching career at the age of 16. He Spent 9 years as the youth director/pastor for the Free Methodist Christian Community Church. In 1999 he co-founded the Hosanna Worship Center in Miami. Two years later, Phil and his wife Emma again answered the call and relocated in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He is a gifted communicator and his worldwide ministry has made him a blessing to millions. Some of his other activities include teaching as an adjunct professor for Trinity's Excel program. He also serves as the current church planting director for the growing movement of  Converge Southeast (www.congergesoutheast.net).

Pastor Phil attended Miami-Dade Community college. Upon completion, he enrolled and completed his training in pastoral ministries at the South Center for Theological Studies. His educational experience continued at Trinity International University where he earned his undergraduate degree (BA). He then completed his graduate studies (MA) at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has also earned his M.div equivalency at Bethel Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies at Bethel University. Pastor Phil is the author of several books including the groundbreaking, Armed for The Journey. In addition, he has written several leadership training manuals and has been featured in several national publications. Phil and Emma are the proud parents of two Children, Jehiel and Hadassah.
